Business Parking Permit

Provide your employees with easy, affordable access to parking.

Permit Applications open December 1, 2025.

Effective January 1, 2026, all Business Parking Permits will be digital instead of stickers. Your license plate will be your permit.

Business Parking Permit - Eligibility & Rules
  • $225 per vehicle - there is no limit as to how many permits can be purchased.

  • Businesses must be enrolled in the Business Parking Program.

  • Permits allow parking anywhere citywide. Must follow ordinance as listed on posted signage.

    • Note: This permit does not grant permission to park on privately owned lots.

  • Permits are valid through the calendar year.

Why Businesses Must Enroll

Before purchasing any permits, businesses must enroll in the Business Parking Program to activate their account.

This account allows businesses owners to:

  • Manage all employee and company vehicle permits under one account.

  • Easily add or edit vehicles when employees change.

  • Simplify renewals each year.

Enrollment ensures that only verified Excelsior businesses participate and helps the City maintain accurate records for downtown employee parking.

How It Works

Step 1: Business Enrollment

Step 2: Account Set Up

  • Once your Business Account is set up, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to access your Business Account Portal.

  • Use the username and password provided in the email to log into your business account.

    • The password provided is a generic password and you will not be prompted to update/change your password. For security purposes, when you first log into your business account please go to the account tab on the left of the screen, click edit next to password and enter your own unique password for your Business Account.

Step 3: Purchase Permits
Once logged into your Business Account you will be able to purchase permits for you and your employees.

  • Permits cost $225 per vehicle; there is no limit on quantity.

  • Businesses are not eligible for Visitor Passes.

  • All permits are managed digitally through the online portal.

Employers are responsible for registering their employees’ vehicles.

The employer will need to provide Employee Name and Vehicle details (license plate, state, make, model, color) when registering their employees.

Once the permit is purchased the employee may park anywhere citywide, their license plate serves as their permit.
